Our Projects

Pads4Her

In partnership with Purposeful and the money raised from our crowdfunding campaign, Politics4Her has successfully produced 1,000 toolkits on menstrual health and reusable sanitary pads in collaboration with women's cooperatives in Morocco. These essential supplies are distributed in the earthquake-affected zones, accompanied by a comprehensive workshop on menstruation.

Anera Crowdfunding

Since the onset of the genocide in Palestine, Politics4Her has raised nearly $70,000 for Anera, a dedicated humanitarian NGO working in the region. Anera has utilized these funds to purchase and prepare menstrual kits, each containing underwear and sanitary pads. These kits have already been delivered to over 2,300 displaced women in Gaza, providing much-needed relief and support in this critical time.

UNHCR #SangTabou

In partnership with UNHCR Morocco, Politics4Her adapted its existing menstruation toolkit to address the unique challenges of forced migration. These adapted toolkits were distributed as part of care packages to 250 women refugees in Morocco during a series of informative workshops. Additionally, Politics4Her contributed to a digital campaign aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation, further empowering women and raising awareness on this critical issue.

UNDP Arab Leadership Academy for Women

In partnership with UNDP Arab States, Politics4Her SWANA supported UNDP’s digital engagement on The Arab Leadership Academy for Women which is an initiative with programs to promote transformational leadership, intergenerational collaboration, mentoring, and peer support, to respond to societal challenges and foster regional cooperation.

World YWCA

This consultation project led by Politics4Her Asia with World YWCA is a part of the RiseUp! Asia-Pacific Leadership and Advocacy Initiative, focusing on the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) landscape in India. The participatory research explores the often-overlooked SRHR narratives within historically marginalized communities in India by implementing the Feminist Consultation Methodology (FCM). These narratives span across crucial areas such as Legal Rights, Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), Menstrual Activism, support for Queer Youth, and Accessibility/Inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. The primary goal of this project is to illuminate the lived experiences of these communities and their vision for impactful change.

Gender Transformative Education

As part of a grant by Plan International, Politics4Her SWANA are working on developing a needs assessment and policy brief concerning Gender Transformative Education in Jordan. The aim behind this piece of work is to investigate the current state of gender in the educational system and curriculum in the country, along with highlighting the main points that ought to be addressed in upcoming national efforts. Insights will be collected from gender and education experts to ensure an accurate and inclusive representation of the topic and issues at hand.
