social Media Campaigns
Politics4Her is dedicated to raising awareness and driving change through powerful advocacy campaigns.
Our campaigns aim to highlight critical issues affecting women and girls, challenge societal norms, and influence policy decisions at local, national, and international levels.
Key elements of our Advocacy Campaigns:
Public awareness:
We use media, social platforms, and community events to educate the public about pressing gender issues.
Grassroots mobilization:
We empower communities to take action and advocate for their rights through training, workshops, and resource provision.
Stakeholder engagement:
We collaborate with governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders to amplify our message and impact.
Policy influence:
We directly engage with policymakers to push for legislative and policy changes that promote gender equality.
16 days of activism Against Gender-Based Violence:
Every year, we take part in the global 16 Days of Activism Campaign to raise awareness about gender-based violence and advocate for systemic change. In the 2023 edition, we teamed up with the Coalition of Feminists For Social Change (COFEM) to create a policy brief addressing gender-based violence in SWANA. This brief highlights 16 case studies from 16 different countries, showcasing the various forms of gender-based violence experienced by women in the region.
Periods don’t stop during disasters:
We are committed to promoting SRHR and empowering young women worldwide. This campaign aims to guarantee that women and girls in disaster-stricken areas have access to necessary menstrual products and hygiene facilities, while also advocating for a gender-sensitive approach in disaster relief efforts. This campaign originated during the earthquake relief response in Morocco and has since continued in partnership with ANERA to support women and girls in Gaza.
UNHCRMorocco #LifeIsACycle Campaign:
In partnership with UNHCR Morocco, we created a campaign for International Women's Day and Women's History Month called #LifeIsACycle. The campaign aims to raise awareness about menstrual health and to eliminate the stigma surrounding menstruation, particularly within refugee and displaced communities.
Ending Child Marriage Campaign in Morocco
As part of our collaboration in Project Soar, we have developed a campaign to raise awareness about child marriage in Morocco. Our aim is to advocate for the eradication of child marriage and promote legislative reforms and community action. For this digital campaign, we have chosen to create a series of social media posts and a weekly newsletter. The newsletter will highlight the latest news about the family code in Morocco and provide updates on the situation of child marriage in different countries around the world.
