Politics4Her is an intersectional feminist youth-led digital platform & global movement advocating for the inclusive participation of young women and girls in politics, civil society, and decision-making processes. Politics4Her is a movement driven by the belief that young women and girls hold the power to create a more equitable and just world. Our platform is a place where every girl and woman can be heard, valued, and recognized as an agent of change.

At Politics4Her, we believe that every young woman and girl has the potential to be a powerful agent for change in her community and beyond. Our mission is to give them the opportunities to break stereotypes, grow more informed, and actively participate in civil society.

Politics4Her’s strategy is built upon five pillars

  • Women are powerful catalysts for change in our societies, yet they continue to face barriers and under-representation in decision-making positions. At Politics4Her, we believe in empowering women's leadership by fostering a sense of purpose and internalizing a leadership identity in young girls. Our comprehensive online training equips women with the tools to look beyond the status quo and envision what is possible, despite stereotypes, discrimination, insecurities, and gender bias. By providing young women with the support and resources they need to become effective leaders, Politics4Her is helping to break down barriers and create a more equitable and just society for all.

  • At Politics4Her, we are dedicated to empowering marginalized groups such as youth, women, people with disabilities, refugees, people from the LGBTQI+ community, and people from different socioeconomic backgrounds. We believe in providing them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive and become agents for change.

Politics4Her has a comprehensive strategy that focuses on increasing women's participation in politics and addressing gender imbalances in political representation across a variety of key areas. These areas include sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and bodily autonomy, breaking stereotypes and ending gender norms and gender-based violence, forced migration and refugee protection, feminist leadership, political participation in decision-making and peacebuilding processes, and gender climate justice.

By addressing these critical issues, Politics4Her aims to create a more equitable and inclusive political landscape that empowers women to fully participate in shaping the policies and decisions that affect their lives and communities.

Through targeted outreach, training and mentorship programs, advocacy for policy change, and the creation of safe and inclusive political spaces, Politics4Her seeks to ensure that women's voices and perspectives are heard and valued in all aspects of political life.

2022-2026 Strategic Framework

The Politics4Her strategy aims to achieve its mission of increasing women's participation in politics and addressing gender imbalances in political representation through several strategic goals. These goals include:

Capacity Building: Providing women with the skills and resources necessary to participate effectively in politics, including leadership training, networking opportunities, and mentorship programs.

Policy Dialogue: Engaging in productive policy discussions with stakeholders, including policymakers, civil society organizations, and community members, to advocate for policies that support gender equality and women's rights.

Effective Advocacy: Advocating for gender equality and women's rights through targeted campaigns, mobilization of community members, and strategic partnerships with organizations and individuals who share our goals.

Advance Women's Rights: Developing and implementing policies and initiatives that promote gender equality, bodily autonomy, and the advancement of women's rights at all levels of society.

Network of Allies: Building a network of allies across sectors and communities to support the advancement of gender equality and women's rights, including through cross-sectoral collaboration, information sharing, and joint advocacy efforts.

That's why intersectionality is at the core of all our activities, ensuring that we work towards creating a more just and equitable society for all.

We are committed to supporting the next generation of changemakers, particularly young women and youth, who are often marginalized and excluded from political decision-making. Through capacity building and mentorship programs, we aim to empower these individuals to become leaders and advocates for gender equality and women's rights.

But we know that true change requires more than just individual empowerment - it also requires policy change. That's why we are dedicated to leading the charge for policy change, advocating for laws and policies that support gender equality and women's rights at all levels of government.

We also recognize the importance of dialogue and collaboration in creating lasting change. By opening dialogue between communities and policymakers, we can ensure that policies and decisions are informed by the needs and perspectives of those who are directly affected by them.
