Morocco Lost Its Most Prominent Journalism Figure: Dr Mohamed Talal

Founder of the Higher Institute of Journalism and Communication in Casablanca. He is also known as a fervent human rights activist, politician and proud feminist. Dr Talal was a professor at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences at Hassan II University in Casablanca, as well as a professor and Director of Studies at the Institute of Journalism and Communication (ISIC) in Rabat.

The late Mohamed Talal also taught in institutes and universities of journalism all over the Arab world: United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Egypt, author of many books, in addition to his duties as general secretary of the Maghreb Research Union in communication.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Talal family, in particular to our dear friend and team member Rabab Talal. We have no doubt that you will honor your father’s name and legacy.
