Stephen Hawking: Humanity Only Has 100 years on Earth

One of the greatest minds of all time has just passed away. Stephen Hawking was well-known for his research on general relativity and black holes. But he often stepped outside his own field of research. The famous scientist argued that men will be seriously threatened by the end of this century. Previously he thought that this was likely to happen in a millennium. The eminent physicist believed that the development of artificial intelligence and killer robots will defeat humans in less than a hundred years. Artificial intelligence’s threat combined with climate change would only give about a hundred years to the human species. Stephen Hawking considered climate change as one of the greatest dangers we face as the Earth could become just like Venus, where temperature approaches 250°C. He also emphasized on Donald Trump’s inaction. The scientist also noted that there was no sign of conflict lessening referring to the development of military technologies and weapons of mass destruction. For him, the only solution would be to go into space as it gives a chance for human survivals by building settlements in there. May He Rest In Peace.
