President Mugabe from Zimbabwe is being held by the army. The army took power in Harare on the night of November 16, while denying having fomented a “coup”. A rough night during which gunfires were heard near the private residence of 93-year-old Robert Mugabe, who has been leading Zimbabwe with an iron fist since independence in 1980. The army has the President under house arrest and took control of the capital, in an operation directed against the entourage of the world’s oldest practicing leader.
